Hedges Resolutions provides mediation and arbitration for construction and business disputes

Successful Construction and Business Leaders manage their disputes just like they manage their successes.

Successful Construction and Business leaders engage well with others; they excel at organizing professional talent to complete complex structures and successful business endeavors.

They are not inclined to spend time educating a judge or jury about their profession or business, or the complex facts of their dispute, just so to throw the dice and maybe win a verdict.

Leaders work with professionals who know their business. Leaders maintain control and the self determination to choose how a dispute is resolved.

Leaders and their legal counsel find that control in mediation.

Disputes to be tried are few and far between. Where a dispute must be decided, leaders and their counsel opt for private adjudication, arbitration, a process that engages knowledgeable professionals to decide the matter.

Nearly 30 years ago, entire industries, for example construction, chose alternative dispute processes of mandatory mediation and binding arbitration. For nearly 30 years Steve Hedges has been an “early adopter” and enthusiastic proponent of mediation and arbitration for the claims and defenses of his clients.

In turn, he serves as mediator or arbitrator. Whether adjudicating a small claim pursuant to standard ADR rules; working to successfully negotiate a large multiparty dispute, or drafting provisions for a dispute resolution board, Hedges has done these things successfully for clients and brings what he has learned is effective to his role as mediator or arbitrator.

Steve Hedges is an American Arbitration Association Panel Mediator and Arbitrator for over 20 years. He is a Certified North Carolina Superior Court Mediator for over 20 years, and is a Virginia Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator for Civil Cases.
